Histotripsy uses focused ultrasound to destroy liver tumors from outside the body. No incision, no needle, no radiation. Most patients go home the same day or the next morning.

A surgical oncologist is specially trained to care for the complex surgical needs of cancer patients. A surgical oncologist is a general surgeon who has completed fellowship training in multidisciplinary surgical cancer care.
